The Class of 2023 has chosen to assist disability services with their Senior Class Gift (SCG) project. The project will raise funds for ADA entrance and exit signs for any campus building that does not yet have them. This is a very exciting project and one that the Class of 2023 is truly passionate about!

Carolyn Koning and the entire Disability Services department are so overjoyed and grateful that the Class of 2023 decided to take on this project. In a thank you email, Carolyn states “This gift will make a tremendous difference in helping students with disabilities feel more welcome and included at Meredith. All College buildings are accessible, but the accessible entrance is not always obvious. The new signage is an excellent gift idea, and I am so thankful!”

In addition to so much excitement behind this project, The Espys, a proud Meredith Family, has agreed to serve as challenge donors for the Senior Class Gift initiative. The Espys will be matching the project goal of $2,000. This will increase the number of buildings we are able to display ADA entrance and exit signs. The Class of 2023 is so excited about the Espy’s match and are thankful for their support.

The SCG project is an annual fundraising initiative led by members of the senior class. The goal is to make a positive impact on Meredith that will benefit future students.

Students who join the Ivy Society (a recurring gift of $10 per month) will receive a sticker and special communication from the College.

Thank you for your support!
