The Parents and Families Fund supports an on-campus project each year.

Over the past two fiscal years, parents and families contributed more than $55,000 to this project, which had been focusing on Campus Security enhancements. Thanks to these generous donations, the College has installed additional security cameras and expanded the number of solar-powered blue light call boxes, while also placing them in more accessible areas for our students.

The 2025-26 Parents Project will focus on enhancing our student’s study spaces! 

Please consider making a gift to this impactful project that will benefit our students and upgrade spaces around campus. 

Past Parents and Families Projects include:

  • Supporting the Student Health and Wellness Center, home to health, counseling and disability services
  • Developing the Meredith Mentors online networking platform
  • Enhancing security at the Hillsborough Street gate
  • Additional equipment and renovation to the Lowery Fitness Center
  • Increased lighting in parking lots
  • Lower Belk Dining Hall and Cate Center renovations
  • Restoration of the Heck Fountain in the center of main campus
  • Enhancing outdoor spaces
