Depart RDU via Delta Airlines for a non-stop flight to JFK Delta Airlines/DL 2343
Upon arrival in New York, transfer service from JFK to The Muse Hotel will be provided for those travelers that are flying with the Meredith College group. Group luggage will be checked and stored until check in.

The Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Walking Tour - $60/person
Tour the charming tree-lined streets of the historic West Village. Visit classic “mom and pop” specialty food shops and neighborhood restaurants – some in business for over 50 years!
The tour will highlight some of the history, culture, and entertainment offerings that makes Greenwich Village so unique and so different from the rest of New York City. Taste thin crust pizza from Joe’s, a fresh filled cannoli from Rocco’s, a delicious meatball with sauce from Pesce Pasta, 3 types of cheeses from Murray’s and more. Mostly importantly, discover the secrets to having the ultimate food and cultural experience off the beaten path!
Our tour guide will reveal unique and lovely gardens, the narrowest house in NYC, pristine homes from the 1850s, tucked-away boot scrapers that Village-folk used in the 1800s (and still today), and the explanation of why the Grid System does not exist in this section of Greenwich Village.

Tour of the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building, the New York Public Library’s flagship location - complimentary Fifth Avenue and 42nd Street
The Library’s docent-led tours are an excellent way to see highlights of the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building. They are also the only way to get group access to many of the Library’s must-see spaces—including the historic Rose Main Reading Room. This one-hour guided tour highlighting the history, architecture, and collections of this magnificent Beaux-Arts building.
